Last June, Companies House has released its annual companies register activities’ report for 2017/18.
The official document includes some interesting figures about the current population of registered companies in the UK.
Not surprisingly, it presents a mix of trends both affected by the economical spike we’ve experienced since 2010 and the ecopolitical turbulences we’ve seen throughout 2017/18.
As for the current state of the economy and the day-to-day implications on local businesses, well… compared with 2016/17 the report shows a slowdown of companies being incorporated. However, let’s not forget that this is still a positive growth rate which most likely serves as a resilience sign for the UK economy.
To put it in simple words, the market potential has remained strong and it is also being recognised by local and overseas companies.
